FAQ

  • Where are you located?
I am in Winhall and sell at the Londonderry Farmer's Market located at the corner of Routes 100 and 11 throughout the summer and fall. I do not have a retail store. I also have pieces in Ludlow Vermont at the Deport Street Gallery.
  • What kind of clay do you use?
I use several different types of clay: white earthenware is used for the Spiral and Stripes designs, red earthenware is used for Aqua on Red, and white stoneware is used for hand-built Ski to Live, Vermont Strong mugs and other fun pieces.
  • How long does it take you to make an item?
Good question. Most pieces aren't made 'one at a time,' so it's really hard to judge how long something takes. With that said, there are roughly 10 steps that each piece goes through from a simple ball of clay to a useable, attractive hand made item. By the way, these 10 steps can take up to 3 weeks to completion because drying times vary.
  • Do you ship?
I do. Shipping costs are added separately from the pottery order because I don't know how much the item will weigh, nor the final dimensions of the box. Both of these factors, in addition to the shipping address, will determine the cost.
